For some people it’s not easy to be out in the open.

For my bartending class today I’m taking Carla again. We haven’t had a chance to eat lunch lately, so I’m glad that we get a chance to hang out again. She told me that she’s been super busy helping out the magic department since they are recently short staffed. I’ve heard about the magical department in our building. They help with certain magical things like registering a familiar, getting permits for a magic shop, and working with different spells and curses since they’re the ones that can read the incantations. I can’t believe they’re so short staffed. Then again the magical community hasn’t embraced being out in the open among humans quite yet, so it’s taking them a little bit longer to move to places that have opened their doors like Detroit. It didn’t take demons or vampires that much prompting. Sure, we have distrust of humans, but we have worked hard in mending that gap. It beats hiding in the darkness trying to get food too. I hope that we get some more people from the magical community here. I have heard so many good things about potions and their skin care products that I want to try them out.
